Leaving

Journal Entry: Mon Nov 2, 2009, 1:37 PM

***
I've decided to leave this place for good. Not leave completely but almost abandon it. It does not fulfill me anymore. I've had some serious problems in real life that left me cracked and battered. I learnt an important lesson, too. In order for me to change my life and character according to this lesson, I have to dedicate as little time to this site as possible. I'll still visit to say hi to friends I found here because you made my stay amazing and I'll probably still browse and suggest from time to time but that will be very rarely. Please, remember me with the good stuff, or not at all. :] Oh by the way, Lili, don't worry, I'll still fulfill my responsibility to the club.
Love you all.

I'd like to share a few amazing recent favourites of mine. Please enjoy and tell me which one appeals to you most ;P

(this is a simply amazing work! I looked at it for half an hour upon first viewing it. It's a classical masterpiece)

A romantic story with a very sweet and, I'd even say, unexpected ending. A very light and pleasant read.
The author does wonders with personification of Cheerios. It's hilarious, yet leaves a sense of sympathy for the poor O's. :D
A horror story with gorgeous descriptions, which keeps you captivated to the very end.
This poem is so musical and poetic, I felt as if I was touching silk when reading it.

I've been looking for a deviation I recently read but obviously forgot to fave or save in some way. It's about a man and a woman having an argument about committing a mutual suicide as a sign of their devotion to each other. I can't find it anywhere. If you happen to have read something like that, please do tell. :(

On one last note, I'd like to send lots and lots of hugs to my dA sweethearts and friends:
:iconexillior: for being such a pleasant company and for sharing my tastes and generally being a sweetheart.
:icondogmatickerr: for all his support :hug: Sorry I haven't called for so long! ^^;
:iconanjali25: for still clinging to me even despite our lack of contact.
:iconrockstarvanity: for being the awesome and supportive GM she is!
:iconkneelingglory: for being a role-model for me. You rock!

Your DD suggestion came as a real, but very welcome surprise! I'm currently recovering from surgery performed last week and the DD certainly made me think less about my ailments yesterday ;)I wish you the very best for your real life which will hopefully workout beautifully in the (not too) long run ...

I posted a quote from your very helpful critique (about shadows) in my latest walkthrough: [link]

I'm sad to hear that you'll be leaving, but I can understand it. I've recently come back from a break and I think it was much needed, even though it's good to be active here again. Best of luck to you

I'm a stained glass mosaic artist that specializes in mosaic portraits. All I need is a digital photo to quote a firm price. Production takes around 2 weeks. All windows can be enjoyed outside year round with minimal shelter from the weathers.
